About me
I translate Pharmaceutical and other medical texts, including EMA Product Information packages (SmPC/Label/PIL), Clinical Trial related texts (Procedures, Investigator's Brochures, Informed Consents), Clinical Laboratory related texts (IFUs, manuals, procedures etc.), and scientific papers and other scientific texts in the pharmaceutical and medical fields. As a former scientific researcher, I am completely familiar with the technical terminology of these fields.
I have a degree ('Dutch Doctoral exam' or MSc) in Biology / Biochemistry, and a PhD from Wageningen Agricultural University at the Dept. of Microbiology, and I worked as a post-doc researcher at the Dept. of Biochemistry of Nijmegen University, on several molecular-biological and immunological studies of connective tissue diseases. After having finished these studies, I did a Higher Vocational Study in Translating English to Dutch v.v.
